The seller advertised that they had more spark energy than MSD coils. There are also MSD coils that are a direct replacement for the LS-1 coils. I don't think the LS-2 coils have a multiple spark feature. I have offered to send the 4 LS-2 coils to anyone who could test them with a set of plugs that are at the SAG stage, but haven't had any takers. It will still be a while before I'm flying so the offer still stands. After I get off the ground, it shouldn't be too long before I can test them myself. I'm using 100LL. Bob W. Racing rotaries have run endurance races running all sorts of "moon gas" with minimal problems. They don't usually run as long as you are talking about. (20 or more hours) The racing fuel is almost always highly leaded fuel to provide high octane. While helping with several cars we never had this problem. Does anyone know if Mazda ran an unleaded fuel in the LeMans effort? Almost all the car guys run MSD iginitions of some type. I know Lynn id running MSD in his car. While building racing motorcycle engines I checked out the Saab Turbo ingition with Ferrofluidic (Superfinely ground iron particles in supension) Coils. A really neat sustem with a single coil at each plug.
