I measured 104db at 3000 & 4000 rpm from my spiral flow muffler. I would like to take some readings from a certified = engine=20 for
comparison.   I measured 104db at 3000 & 4000 rpm = from my=20 spiral flow
muffler. 

 
I'd bet = the average=20 Lycoming would make a lot more noise at 3000-4000 rpm = :-)
