I have recently completed the wiring of my EC2, and if my memory serves me 
correctly, Tracy specifically says to mount the temperature sensor upstream of 
the throttle body.  I took this to indicate that he has accounted for the 
temperature drop at low throttle settings.  -- Mark S.
