I agree, unlikely, BUT Tracy reports having two of the LS1 coils fail - I would check with him to see what the symptoms were if you have not already done so.

Hi Ed,

Temp was approximately 70 degrees, engine temps were normal.

I have four independent coils so don't believe it to be a coil problem.

I think Tracy gets over 150 hours on auto gas, so SAG not likely.
Any idea
what the OAT was at the altitude you were operating?  Was the engine

temperature in the normal range?
I hate those type of hic-ups - but, it a miss on one chamber should
take
only .00166 seconds at 6000 rpm. Of course, it may have been several
running
together.

The two primary  suspects are, of course, fuel and fire. I
personally would
bet on fuel being the culprit more than spark.  The reason is you do
have
two sparkplugs per chamber on different modules.  However, I presume
you
checked to see that both leading and trailing are still working.
That old
resistor in the base of the leading module of the Mazda coils failed
on me
and Tracy.   Otherwise, can think of anything to suggest.
