I have a couple of questions that you guys could answer. I need to block off the 3 EGT ports in the exhaust which I think can be done with 1/2 inch pipe plugs. The same for a port under the thermostat. What is the correct drill size to use to tap the holes to 1/2 inch NPT? Where and how do I pick up an oil supply for Tracy's RD1-C. Where on the engine do you tap in to get this pressureized oil. What size line and what material? Same for the drain from the gearbox. What size drill do I use to tap a 1/4 inch NPT hole. Tracy told me where to bring this line into the engine, but I need to know what you are using to make the line. The inlet to the gearbox is 1/8 inch NPT. If I will need to drill and tap to get this supply, what will be the correct drill size to use? Oil pan...It seems that most are not using the Renesis pan. I am using Fred's plate even though I built the rest of the mount myself. So what are you doing to extend the oil pick up? Freds plate is drilled for both the Renesis and the earlier 13B. Could I use the 13B oil pan and put inserts in the bolt holes that do not match in Freds plate to attach the oil pan? How do you seal the engine mount holes in the 13B pan? Weld? Has anyone cut the bottom off the Renesis pan and welded in a 1 to 1.5 inch extension to make it deeper? Some of these questions will seem pretty basic to some of you, but I really do not want to "invent" any of this installation. There are way too many of you guys out there way smarter than me who have already done the invention. I just need you to tell me how you did it.
