I didn't get involuntarily removed, but after a while, I requested to drop off that list, because there was much more pontification than aviation. I did glean a few crumbs from PL, but the was certainly allot of chaff to sift through to get those few grains of wheat. There were a few posts that I sent that got a response from PL, rather than being posted to the group, so that list is very edited. If it were not for the people on this list, I would probably still not had a successful rotary installation. The Flyrotary group is an assortment of people, with different skills, but all are either flying a rotary aircraft, or soon will be. I trust the opinion of someone who has "been there...done that" versus the "blue sky..what-if" crowd. Ed and I can certify that this is possible, right Ed? Censorship, personal attacks, banishing members outright because they disagree with your position, etc all work counter to the purpose of these lists & make this hobby more dangerous because peer review is effectively killed. I suspect that you would be shocked if you could see a head count of all the people on this list who have been involuntarily banned from the other list. You might be right about this particular banishment, but based on statistical odds, my money is on the other guy's version. Charlie banned 2003 (I think) Ed Anderson wrote: > You may be right, Jerry.
