I had the same problem running high power settings.
The brakes would not hold, and I was afraid to chock
the mains.  I could just see it hopping the chocks and
flipping one up into the prop.  I also didn't like the
idea of tying the mains, since the prop in the back is
also a concern there.

Luckily the airport I fly out of has a closed runway,
that is still in very good shape.  I hold the brakes,
but when it starts moving, it really doesn't matter,
since there is only runway in front of me.  I also do
short runs at full power on that runway.

If you're concerned about the mixture at the high end,
just turn the mixture to the rich side, then you can
see where it's at and adjust from there.  I don't like
being lean with the turbo.

I'm in South Carolina for the weekend.  Came yesterday
and washed the plane and did do a high speed run to
check everything.  Plan to do some serious flying
today, and hopefully tomorrow, weather depending.
I've got 8.5 to go to get the 40 flown off.
