This might be a very slick input device, but it doesn't include the electronics to operate the butterfly servo. You need some electronics to read the position sensor and then supply the correct amount of current to the butterfly servo to make it move to the desired position.

An LVDT would be nice to sense the throttle handle position, but I might be tempted to do it with some sort of resolver. A small joy stick might be nice too.

Pretty clean install.  I might actually have to consider this.  Now, I have no idea if this is the same animal as the Renesis units.  Might be easiest (and cheapest) to just go to the wrecking yard and get the other half.
