I thought that some of you who might be in the early stages of your wiring might find these new wire bundle ties of interest
Ed, I was going to ask how this is any better than making a tie from a piece of nylon tube*, but then I went to their free sample page. Each side has a set of teeth that locks to the other side. Very impressive. Would make for very quick click-on installation. Thank you.
*Making cable ties from nylon tube:
Drill a 1/2" hole in a piece of stiff foam.
Slide a single sided razor blade into the form so that it sticks through about 1/3rd through the side of the hole.
'Screw' a piece of 1/2" nylon tube into the hole so that it is sliced by the blade in a helical pattern.
Cut into pieces between 1.5 and 2 turns.
Not as clean and requires more fidgetting to install than what Ed has presented. (But it does meet the Cheap Rule 8*)
