Thanks Mark,
No problem with the newly sized coolent TES O-rings and the outer (larger) rotor
oil seal O-ring fits the ID of the seal ring and is no problem.....The inner (Smaller) rotor
oil seal O-ring fits the OD of the seal ring and has to be stretched slightly to install.......

Thanks Again,

Kelly,

Its been about 2 years since I assembled my engine, so the details are a bit fuzzy.   As I recall, the rotor o-rings were a snug fit, but I don’t recall any special difficulty with installing any of the TES seals.  But then it gets pretty hot in Texas in the summertime, so maybe that helped the assembly process.  I recall that PL had to do some “stretching” to one or more of his seals to get them to fit.  I don’t think it would do any harm to warm them hot water to soften them up a bit, if you feel the need.  Also, I used assembly lube on everything.

Chuck and Mark,

Do either have a favored method of heating /warming the inner rotor oil

seal TES O-ring to avoid the possibility of tearing when stretching to install

on the inner seal ?? Or was this not a problem when you installed your seals ??

I do not want to destroy a seal in the process !! Wish both of you were

going to be at Tracy's to give me some backup on the use of these seals !!

Thanks
