No I'm not going to have it painted!

No engine or airplane problems. Just an extreeme case of "get-there-itis". Controlled flight into trees. Trying to do a landing at night. Let on by the fact I had done it before (of course then it was a moonlit night and field to the right of the strip had a nice contrast to the field).

There really is no excuse or justification.

Should have followed my alternate plan and gone to Cross City.

Done is done. Need to move on. Sort of in the market for a real inexpensive RV-3 or RV-4 kit.
