So I have not idea whether the tangential will be any kind of "muffler". I'm guessing it's going to be a marginal muffler at best. The path is just too short between the exhaust port and the outside world without a lot to breakup the sound waves. But we'll see. The last major piece is the muffer and exhaust. From the archives, I have read the info on tangential mufflers, with high temp heat wrap, but the jury still seems to be out. Al Gietzen, Bob White, Joe Hull, and Bill Jepson seeem to be doing something with it. What is the status? Can someone build me one out of 331 SS or Inconel for my 3 exhaust port Renesis?
