To all you concerned about in flight fires, check this out.
I've been doing a bit of research, looking for fire retarding compounds
suitable for under cowl areas of composites aircraft, and found this site.
The product "No Burn" sounds very exciting and they claim its non toxic.
Designed for the home, it should work just as well on fibreglass
aircraft,
Don't know how expensive it is, but really cost should be a minor
consideration when your life is concerned. It just might save your life
one
day.
I would be interested in hearing from anyone who has any experience with
this product.

Found another company that makes similar products, Flame Stop, and they
actually list aircraft as an application. http://www.flamestop.com
