Thanks Dave.
After re-reading my post, I should clarify that I was spiraling down
through holes between clouds at end of trip, not 'through the clouds' as
my post inferred. All the other dumb moves were pretty
much as written.
I finished rebuilding your input shaft with new sun gear drilled &
pined to shaft. Also replaced the injector driver relay on EC2 and
updated with latest turbo software. Be sure to read the new installation
guide as several things have changed since 7-01 when your last update was
done. As a consequence of this, all your old MAP table setup is gone
but the new version should be easier to do this time. Will ship
tomorrow.
Buly,
I have not heard any results of your EC2 swap with John's
controller. I'm waiting on a couple of parts to repair the blown CHT &
EGT channels on your EM2. I know you don't currently use those functions
so if you want me to return all your stuff now and worry about EM2 repairs later
I can do. Your call. Did not find anything wrong with EC2 in several
days of testing it. I have thought about Johns theory that there is
some odd quirk about running updated square style EC2s on my
test bench that does not turn up the problem but if that is the case, I can't
find it nor can I think of any scenario where this could be the case.
Hey Kevin, Send me some details on you OX system. I might be
interested if it looks like a fit for my needs. I will want one suitable
for two users. My back seater won't go over 10,500 without it.

Reminds me of the old HALO days.... I've seen
some starting to loose it at 18,000 for a short time. Lucky Tracy.
I have a "couple" jumps too. Maybe I'll join you.
Tracy, glad you're home safe. But I'll never throw stones..
