While wandering in the aircraft parts aisle at Home Depot, I came across 90
degree mandrel bends in both thin wall conduit (galvanized metal) and
schedule 40 PVC (grey conduit). Why wouldn't this work for an intake? I am
pretty certain that both are fire resistant and would stand up to the heat.
The metal is a little heavier than aluminum (maybe the PVC as well) but
cheeeep!
Has anyone tried either of these materials?
