However, as best I = recall they felt they were having detonation problems caused by the = "higher" octane components "distilling" from the mixture and leaving = "lower" octane components in vapor (combustible) form whereas the higher = octane components were reverting to liquid form in the intake - or = something along those lines. My person experience has also indicated = injectors=20 closer to the port turn out to give me a smoother and better running = engine.  I have had all 4 out as far as 21 inches and found = throttle=20 response and starts in cold weather not to my liking.
