Volume 11 of the "Alternate Engines" book on p147 shows measured FI
suburu engine loads (pump, coil, injectors, EC ) to be 3.9 and 6.5 amps.

I will try to measure loads at various rpm's soon. Can do it with canopy
closed with the cowl off. Also want to make sure my alternator is not
producing any power when the field current is shut down. The voltage
dropped to battery voltage immediately when the switched off. so have to
believe it is not generating any power.
