Greetings,

I've been trying to think of a way to incorporate a filter, along with one of Tracy's shoebox type intakes.  What do you think about putting a small K&N filter on the end of each of the intake tubes (see crude "paint"ing)?  I would lose the air horns, but it would seem like a fairly low loss on the filter restriction since the plenum is pressurized.

Cheers,

Rusty,
I believe you would do much better by placing a square pleated filter at an angle in a only slightly longer "shoebox". The individual cleaners work ok but will cause no end of low-end tuning headaches. Much better to use the airhorns however short. See equally terrible paint example! You can match the height of the box to a filter from the parts store.
