Ok, Georges, found my notes.  for the 9.7:1 the depth is 4mm.  9.4:1  is 5.5mm and the 9.1 is 7 mm.

Hi Georges,

Here is how I do it. Lay a straight edge lengthwise over the depression in the face of the rotor.  Measure from the bottom of the edge to the surface of the depression (near the center).  The distance should be 4-5mm for a 9.7:1  ( I forget exactly), but the 9.1 will measure close to 7 and the 9.4 in-between.

How do you tell which rotor is 9.7:1? I took an '86 withe EGR valve on the center plate apart and found perfect rotors with an "S" stamped on the side, they look identical to my 91 NA rotors who have a "S" on them as well?
Georges B.
