The MAP was 28.0. Ugghh. When I did the WOT tests on the ground, I was getting 27.6" when the ambient was 30.10. Today, the ambient was 30.07, = so I'm getting some ram air pressure, but not enough to make up for the restrictive intake. =20 =20 Also, I measured another Mazdatrix intake, and found that they clearly = did their homework. The inlets from the carb were just a tiny bit larger = than the sum of the ports that bolt to the engine. =20 =20 As I see it, I can recreate this same intake design, but with larger = tubes, and a larger TWM TB. I really don't want to spend that much on another = TB though. I could put something together like Tracy's shoebox, or I could = do the 4 into 2 into 1 trick with a single barrel TB.
