Analog gauges for pressures so that less mental interpretation is needed.  Am wanting to build digital temp gauges with alarms.  What brand of digital gauges do you have and what type of senders do they use?

Why non-digital?  I love my digital gauges.  Would prefer everything on a screen ... Jim S.

What is the preferred type and manufacturer and source for an oil, water and fuel pressure gauge non-digital. Must use electrical due to long run from rear engine to panel.  All help will be greatly appreciated.    Wendell

Hi Wendell,

VDO is a good brand, and I've never been disappointed by their stuff.   Take a look at http://www.egauges.com/ for a complete listing of gauges and senders.  They have the odd metric sizes too, which is handy.  Below is the list I've kept of the stock sender sizes.

Water temp in water pump housing- M12 X 1.5

Water temp in rear housing (near oil pressure sender)- M10 X 1.0

Oil temp (in pan)- M16 X 1.5

Oil pressure- M10 X 1.0

Cheers,
Rusty
