George (if you're still here, since I haven't
seen a post in a while) and Georges,
What ever became of this? I pulled my
CAS Sunday to replace the leaking o-ring (my irritating oil leak I hope), and
got to thinking about these twin distributor covers. Unfortunately, I
asked Leon if he had a picture, and he did (doesn't he always). I'll
attach it here. As you can see, it does appear that the cover will bolt up
to a 13B housing, but the problem will be obvious :-(
Is this the same as the cover you saw
Georges? Were there others covers that had two distributors? I sure
would like a second CAS...

Hi! Guys
I was just
snooping around my neighbors vehicle cemetery (a collection of about 150
vehicles from the early 1900's on) I found an old Mazda wagon (model 124 engine
12a) The engine has 2 distributors, does any one know whether the front cover
from a 12a will bolt up to a 13b ? I would like to have redundant igniters
if I could.
