However, I have found the rotary to be well - balanced coming from the factory. If you match the right counterweights with the right rotors, you should have a smooth running engine. However, if you don't have anywhere else to spend $350 then I don't see any reason not to have it dynamically balanced. Certainly won't hurt although I don't think it will help much in the case of the rotary unless your are running over 8K. But, this is just an opinion not a fact.
