But by the time the tow truck operator (who claimed he = was following instructions) had put lift straps around the WINGS and = tried to lift it. The straps quickly crushed the trailing edges of the = wings further damaging the aircraft. It certainly adds to the deserted = feeling of the airport. But, Sat met the new FBO who seemed just the = opposite of the previous one. He told me not to worry about paying = "tiedown" charges for as long as it took me to fix the engine. So even = though I was finished - it was a nice gesture. The answer is in this photo, = Barny.  At=20 least part of it is.  I have a collapsible lift that is really = a life=20 saver (back too),  I can lift the engine out and in the mounts = with=20 little problem.  Takes me about 5 minutes or less (once I have = spent=20 several hours disconnecting everything and taking the oil pan=20 off.
