The rotary saves 97# over Blanton's original design so you basically end up with a 4-place Super Cub quick-build for real cheap (under about $15k finished). Or chop the Tri-Pacer frame down the center and make is a Super Cub clone for about 1/5 what the Smith kits run. Or put a single seat up front for a PA-12 style hotrod. My mount was professionally built by the same guys that weld certified components for Lancair and Aviat (Husky) and is perfect for a Tri-Pacer conversion. I only want $400 for it which is much less than I paid, that's for sure.
