I really am reluctant to put these numbers on the market this early, but
here are some numbers to chew on!

Palt        rpm        fuel flow        Vind         Vtrue
-------------------------------------         ------
3200      5150        8.1 gph        160        171 mph   part throttle,
leaned
3200        5600        12               163        175         WOT not
leaned

8300        5470        8.2               150        172        8800        5640                              155        180

14500        5650        12+              162        188

Interesting that the 14500 foot point looks out of kilter with the 8300.
Tom Green says the airplane is much better at the 12-14 k range. The
lower altitude points have some reflex in the ailerons which I thought
would help the lower altitudes, but may hurt at the higher. Too many
variables.

My numbers appear better than Bill Eslick at the 8 gph range but he is
better WOT. This may be because I am running higher coolant temps which
has been reported to help efficiency, but hurt max power. I was seeing
217 f type numbers. I have not blown the coolant pressure and lost any
fluid. Assume that I am not boiling with the high pressures I'm running
in the system. Hope that my temps come down some when the Ed Trumpet get
in place. My oil temp are running hot side of 227 which I assume is
around 180 to 190 cool side. Can not get the cht type proble to run
there.
