<< Lynn,
Good info on balancing the two rotors.
Does the rotor have to balanced within itself for a best balancing
outcome.
I'm doing a 'single rotor' and was wondering if I need to go that far.

The rotors are balanced dynamically (spin balanced) from the factory and
then
hand selected into sets that weigh the same within a few grams. Notice
some
balance marks on all but one corner (generally).
Lynn,
I noticed this mentioned on other sites, but the RX8 rotors have NO
balancing marks ( read no drill or mill marks) on the sides of the apexes.
Perhaps, because of the better manufacturing process they are inherently
better balanced.
OR because the depressions ( and exhaust edges) are machined the balancing
is done within the same process.
It's something I guess I will have to check.
