I mentioned in my first post that I didn't want to discuss this on the list, but it seemed like without discussion the problem wouldn't go away. Consequently I've just been sitting on the sidelines, waiting for the issue to resolve itself, which it apparently has. Once we get through a day without chatter on the subject I'll go through the archives and purge all this stuff... it has nothing to do with The List's stated goals. Compared to other things going on in my life currently, this is a non-event <g>. Thanks, everyone, for all your help.

The emoticons added about 4 k to email; the background added about 12 to 15;
so, as most now run about 4, 5 or 8 without, as they are still html, sending
plain text would half that, you can see where they really gobble up a lot of
space, about 4 or 5 times as much. But, you notice Marv hasn't really said
anymore about it, just us folk worrying and trying to help. Thanks,
