Most all of us have our heart in the right place, and act an ass quite well, and he is no exception. My learned colleague, Mr. Barber is actually an attorney. Please do not hold that against him. I suggest that Copyright is a misnomer. It is to protect profit, not ideas. Even Patents do not protect ideas, in fact just the oppisite, you put the idea into the public domain, in return for short term profit protection. This is a power granted to the feds in the constitution. It is "To promote the Progress of Science and useful Arts, by securing for limited Times to Authors and Inventors the exclusive Right to their respective Writings and Discoveries." Is "the Progress of Science and useful Arts" harmed if we send copies of these drawings? Further I suggest sharing any artwork in the discussion of any idea surely is square in the middle of fair use. And finaly "plagiarism is when you copy" and take credit for anyone elses work.
