A while back I mentioned a crank mounted alternator I had seen
that's
designed for VW's.
Funny you should mention
this now. I just picked up the Sonerai project yesterday, and it came with
a Great Plains 2180 engine. It also came with a Diehl case that fit an
1835 engine. I noticed the stator on the back of the case, and had made a
mental note to take a picture of it.
