Hi, all....I need to make an = inquiry regarding=20 peripheral ports. I understand that the housings get the round = peripheral ports installed, and that the exhaust port is also = modified to=20 complete the P-Port modification to the rotor housings.

What, if = anything=20 needs to be done to the existing center and end plates? If I = purchase=20 a set of p-ported housings, can I use the e-shaft and rotors from = either my=20 1989 4-port turbo engine with it's 9.0 compression rotors, or the = e-shaft=20 and rotors from my 1988 NA 6-port engine with it's 9.4 compression=20 rotors? Or would I be better off using the street-ported = 4-port center=20 and end plates? I asked Paul Lamar, but I didn't understand his = short=20 answer. He mentioned epoxy, but is that for the p-port = housings or do=20 you block off the ports in the front, rear and center plates that = have the=20 triangular ports in them? Thanks in advance for all = replies. =20 Unfortunately, I am not familiar with the internals of this engine, = and how=20 the stock porting works (or doesen't work) with peripheral=20 ports. Paul,

with the combustion mixture comming = in through=20 the P-P opening you do not need any of the side ports. In addition, = the=20 engine would not even run with both. I tried it, have positive = prove. So=20 there is not things like street porting or two or for port etc. = since all=20 these refer to side ports. P.L. was saying, the side ports in the = side=20 housings are being closed in a P-P using epoxy. Ideally, a side = housing=20 without any ports to begin with would be nice. This may become = available if=20 and when my single rotor is perfected and I make a configuration = useable on=20 a two rotor. Don't hold your breath.

Thanks, Richard....I may just order = the Racing=20 Beat lightweight aluminum housings. They are available unported, = stock=20 ported or street ported, etc. Paul Conner
