BTW; I found that the mixture bar on the EM2 a bit below half way up for peak EGT, and always about 1 bar short of all the way up for very rich. Running lean at power, there can be no reading at all; off the bottom.  Am I the only one seeing this?

Hi Al,

That seems pretty normal.  My EM-2 always read 2-3 bars more than the old mixture monitor gauge Tracy used to sell.  I've check the EM-2, and it's reading like it's supposed to.  I tend to find my best "normal" power at about 7-8 bars, and you can drop it right off the bottom on lean cruise.  The wideband O2 meter that I installed will give me the ability to read 10-20 AFR, rather than just around 14.7 like cheap O2 sensors do.  Not sure if it will translate into enough value to be worth what I paid for it, but I like knowing what the real number is.

Cheers,
Rusty (only 27 more weeks to go on the new oil scoop)
