Thanks for the info. I called my local NAPA store and they don’t
stock the 660-1140 valve. But the store in San Antonio
(90 miles from Austin)
has it in stock. They said they can get one from their warehouse by tomorrow.
Since I’m not flying, that will work. I warned him that I needed to look
at it to see if it would work and he was ok with that. We’ll wait and
see.
Another local parts house had the “Mustang”
valve in stock… $7.00.
BTW, where did you get your 6”
inconnel tube used for your muffler?

Get one that you don’t have to remove
anything; simple cable operated lever. NAPA, Balkamp part # BK 660-1140. I
don’t know what its application is; I just looked through their catalog
until I found what I wanted.

Have you considered using
a ’70 Mustang heater valve. You would only need to remove the
vacuum motor and connect a cable to the lever. They’re available
from many sources.
