Give me a clue! Tracy Group, I am attaching several JPEGS of tangential mufflers. The smaller = muffler is a variant on the cool tube theme, with the bounce panel = added. The Jabaru uses a muffler of this style without the cool tube, = and it's very quiet. I think the cool tube is a good idea on the rotary = to help control temps. The second set of JPEGS is the original VAM = concept. Note that the layout is setup for a 20B since that is what I'll = be running. The pic with the text shows where the idea was "got wrong" = for the test unit. I believe ED K. did a good job of building it but = then they ran it sans tailpipe which skewed the result.
