Great drawings, Bill.  Looks like the concept uses the "argumentation" of
the exhaust gas to pull cool air through the inner tube.  Fastest velocity
would be at the "venture", so should suck that cool air.  It appears similar
to the idea used in marine exhaust about pumping cooler water into the
exhaust system to "disrupt" the transmission of sound energy.  Do you have
any concern about a "choked Flow" condition existing near the point where
the system narrows down??

think the cool tube is a good idea on the rotary to help control temps. The
second set of JPEGS is the original VAM concept. Note that the layout is
setup for a 20B since that is what I'll be running. The pic with the text
shows where the idea was "got wrong" for the test unit. I believe ED K. did
a good job of building it but then they ran it sans tailpipe which skewed
the result.
