shouldn't "T" them Jim, rather bring them both out side-by-side.

Al, This only matters if you want to run the "both" position on the
selector. The air does a least resistance flow. Rarely will they be
perfectly ballanced. The T will work fine but you will probably need to
switch tanks manually.

Sorry; we are on a different page here.  I have dual tanks, gravity feed to
the sump tank, no valves anywhere.  Well; I do have a manual emergency (or
service) shutoff at the sump exit which can be operated by a pull cable at
the pilot seat.  It is held in open position by a breakable tie so it
doesn't get closed unless you darn well intend it to be.
