What it doesn't tell you is that at 13:30, for three weeks straight, the temperature was 110+; but at night, if it cooled down to a balmy 78, then the _average_ was 93. The disparity between Pensacola and Miami might be due to different offshore wind dynamics that don't allow for as much cool-down. Dale R.
