You put these in from = the rear of the spar thru the inspection plate. It is #*$### time with my = big clumsy mitts in there. Sounds just like the -8. He had said he would, but I'm beginning to think there is slim to = no chance of a problem with the RV9A, but more likely if there is a = problem, it will be with the engine installation and I'm more familiar with it than = he is. This is always a tough decision, and no one can help much. The best = thing about RV's is that you can't hardly make one fly badly. If you build it anywhere close to the way Van intended, it will treat you right. Do = invite folks over to nitpick the airframe though. Amazing what a lot of = different eyes can find. =20 Good luck.
