Here is a picture of a late model 35A Honda Goldwing alternator.  It
appears that it is driven by a rubber damper.  I'll have to check my
Goldwing repair manual tonight, but it appears that it would be fairly
easy to adapt this unit to fit the rotary's crankshaft pulley.  Price
from EMS Electric is $209.95.  This looks to be similar to an ND
alternator that is very popular with homebuilders.
