I know that the most recent discussion has focused on the idea of a crank-mounted alternator... a great idea. Since we're on the subject of crank-mounted "stuff", here's a photo of the water pump from the Eagle 540... mounted to the crankshaft. A single serpentine belt drives the alternator and A/C compressor. For those of you looking for another alternative to the EWP.
