Has anyone ever tried anything like this? I haven't tried a "separator" shield. But my fuel line from the fuel-pumps runs within a couple of inches of one of my alternators (I have 2 alts.). So, I'm fashioning a belt guard that will encapsulate the belt and pulley at that alternator. I think I'll also look at this "separator" concept - that would solve my other concern...i.e. losing one belt means I lose both belts Joe Hull Bellevue (Seattle), Washington Cozy MkIV #991 (working on Engine & Electrical & Finishing) http://www.maddyhome.com/canardpages/pages/JoeHull/index.html
