Georges,
No one actually knows for sure what the exact position is for our Aviation needs. That's not to say we don't have a rough idea.
Too early too much exhaust contamination, too late and too much back pressure - take your choice.
Jerry is developing his ideas for imminent testing, so it will be good to see his outcomes.

I can take a photo with some guide lines if you wish?

Hi! Ed
Thank you, I'm surprised at the number of people involved in "Rotary Power" aviation. I want 200hp for a Christavia STOL A/C on floats, Paul Lamar suggested P-porting, I was going to use street porting. I've ordered Tracy Crook's PSRU, EM2 & EC2. I have a milling machine, if I can find the info as where EXACTLY to drill the holes I'm sure I can handle it.
Regards

George and Gail,
If you will pose your questions to the "Flyrotary Group" at the
address below and search the archive address you will receive and
find all the information you can stand......Send an E-mail to the group
and address your question to Jerry Hey as he is the current expert
on converting the 13B rotary to periferal port.....FWIW

> Hi! Paul

in rotor housing. Put me on the list for the slide throttle. I'm also looking
for a supplier for intake "U" bends. My

cover available (91 13b NA). Is it possible to use a smog pump as a vacuum
source for instruments with a regulator?

I am not sure Jerry Hey still wants to do that. You can uy them from Racing
Beat in Anaheim CA. It is also pretty easy to do on your own as they are
just 2 inch holes with short pieces (3 or 4 inches) of two inch tubing epoxies
in.
High temp epoxy work fine if you groove the out side of the tubing a tiny
bit. If you want you can cut 2.5 or 3 inch thick wall tubing on a lathe leaving
a
bit of flange to screw the slide throttle to using 6-32 flat head screws. Scale
this drawing for the proper position of the 2 inch holes in the rotor housing.
