I don't want to freak you guys out, or anything, but I just had, like, this brainstorm and, you know, I had to go with it. I took the gearset to a TRANSMISSION SHOP. I don't know what came over me. I just did it. The mechanic recommended that I replace the 3-planet set (he called them pigs), with a 6-planet set in a steel carrier. He didn't have one in stock, and I didn't have time to drive across town to their sister shop before work, but I'll head over there next week. I'll be able to test fit it right there...and buy it if it fits. (Sometimes the obvious thing to do is...obvious 8*)
