I ordered the metal Jacket for the one that will not be in a battery box. I got it off e-bay $62 with the jacket + $14 shipping.

The 680 comes in a metal jacketed version for about $10 more. Is it worth considering?
A side benefit to the 680 for me is that apparently it fits my BMW 750 S also.
