Where is your selector valve?  If it is on the floor up front like an EZ you might be able to suck some air through the selector or cavitate on the long run from strake to near IP to sump.  What if you went with the system Tracy uses?  No selector - transfer fuel from transfer tank to draw tank as needed and draw / return to draw tank.  Gravity feed from draw tank to sump, boosted with Facet.  You have most of the plumbing in place and it wouldn't be a big deal to convert.
Do you really REALLY need a selector? ... Jim S.

I'm a little confused...I have both.  I have a facet low pressure boost pump between the fuel selector and sump tank, and two high pressure EFI pumps after the sump tank, before the engine.  Paul Conner

Other folks have reported fuel flow problems when they located
    their pumps
between the engine and fuel selector instead of between the fuel
    selector and
tanks... mostly the cause was air being sucked past the fuel
    selector's seals
causing some air to be introduced into the fuel flow.
