Hi Bobby
I had to shorten the 1986 13B filler neck by a couple of inches to fit in my RV6. It was not too hard to shorten, the hard part was getting it out of the housing. Combination of big pliers, slide hammer, and wiggling back and forth did the trick, it is a tight press fit in the housing. I don't know if this would apply to a Renesis.

Subject: [FlyRotary] Stock Oil filter neck

Has anyone been able to use the stock oil filter neck for the 13b/ Renesis in an RV application without modifying the cowling. If so, on what models and approximately how much clearance was left.? The return oil for the Renesis connects to the bottom of the stock filter neck which I did not get with the crate engine.

Thanks,

Bobby Hughes
