Nice work Al.
Did you have the board made at PCB express or similar service? I'm all out of unused inputs to the EM2 right now, but in the future I may stop monitoring some of the extra temps, so will have one freed up. At that time I'd order a board or three if this works well.

Subject: [FlyRotary] Current measurement

There was a lot of chat a few weeks ago about “current draw”.  For amps readout on the EM2, I have a little circuit board that I had made that will give a 0-5 volt output signal from the standard 0-50 mv output from an ammeter shunt.  (See http://www.bandc.biz/cgi-bin/ez-catalog/cat_display.cgi?15X358218 ).  Feed the output to an unused channel on the EM2 and have current readout.

I had three made to keep the unit cost down, and I’m willing to part with at least one.  Contact me off list at alventures@cox.net if you’re interested.

Should work on a 0-5v channel, and I tried to use the “right tank” channel, but it won’t take a voltage signal.  I’m still waiting for an answer from Tracy on what it is that channel is set up for.

Al
