The huge amounts of heat that need to be dissipate are too much for few extra sq. inches of aluminum. Heck, with a finned pan, an= d one of these finned oil filter covers, I'm thinking I can skip the oil coo= ler altogether for the Slingshot.  Since the engine just hangs out in t= he breeze, there ought to be plenty of airflow.
