You’re right; it can’t hurt –
just don’t expect too much of it. Unless my math is wrong; a quick
calc of surface area estimates that it adds maybe about 100 sq. in. of surface
area. Your stock Mazda cooler probably has maybe about 350 - 400 sq.in of
surface in one inch of its length. Factor in the likely lower heat
transfer coefficient and … well; you get the picture.
But, then; hey – that’s just
