Thanks Rusty.
IIRC, you had one of the earlier versions of the EC2 as well, but also installed the update chips? So I would assume that the update chips do allow this transfer function, or is there more to it as Tracy's e-mail sort of indicates? If the weather holds, I'll head out to the airport this weekend and try it. Heck, I might even renew my insurance and go for a flight :-)

Keep in mind that the A to B copy function was not always in the EC2.  If it isn't in your instructions, it probably isn't in the unit.  Won't hurt to try this anyway just in case the "documentation control department" here accidentally left it out of your copy.

I couldn't remember if this was an actual feature now or if it was just one of Rusty's wish items (right after datalogging).

Actually, I think my wish list item was to get the EC-2 instructions in word format, so I could cut and paste this rather than having to type it.  Anyway, here is the procedure to copy A to B.

Rusty (don't say I never gave you anything)

1- Turn the EC-2 power off.
2- Select controller A using the controller A/B switch on the PCM.
3- Select mode 2 with the Mode Select switch.
4- Press and hold the Program Store switch.
5- While holding down the Program Store switch, turn on the power switch to the EC-2.
6- Keep holding the Program Store switch for about 2 seconds, then release it.
7- All programming entries which you have performed on controller A will now be copied to controller B.
